Hannah Chutzpah is part of the team that runs and hosts the Genesis Poetry Slam – London’s only three-round slam. It takes place on the first Thursday of the month, at Genesis Cinema, Whitechapel.
It’s a gorgeous, friendly night with 12 poets taking part, and one being named the champion of the month. An annual final in December brings back all the monthly winners, to decide who gets to call themselves the reigning Genesis Poetry Slam champion of the year.
